Here are instructions for the watch as a .jpg file...if you press both the "C" and "D" buttons ( refer the attached pic) at the same time you should hear the alarm ring. If it does not it will possibly need checking by a Seiko repair centre ( possibly no parts available though due to age)

Seiko automatics do not wind just shake it side to side a couple of times then wear it it self winds

you do need to change the battery. many Wal-Mart's will change it for you in the jewelry isle. some backs push on where as others twist off. but without the right tools you'll just scratch it or groove it, or ruin the possible water resistance of it, if the seal is cracked or broken then any water can get in. most batteries will be good for 1-3 years on average but it will depend on if it has a light and the temperature it was kept at.

You will never find that unless you are a Seiko Registered Repair Facility. They want the business. I have mine serviced every 5 years, purchased in 1988.

Pull the crown one stop and press the other buttons. One press moves the hands 1 second clockwise.

Seiko 5N0313 refers to the movement fitted inside the watch - it's not the model number of your particular watch.
Go to

where there should be enough info' to allow you to determine the model number, then do a search based on that number.
