No. That's what Boost Mobile told my friend. They said don't mess with it, it's supposed to be like that. But what i want to know is how did they it get in there in the first place? But i would say, Where there's a will, there's a way. Right? Maybe thats not what you want to here, but that's what we were told. Maybe they just want you to get a new phone!

yes while the device is off hold the screen lock button the volume up button and the home button this will boot it into recovery mode and you can reset your phone from there.

If you get random errors or unstable system after an update, it's best to do a three button reset from android recovery menu. Wipe cache and delvac partitions and you should be good to go.

WARNING: this will erase all your data.

Google on how to do a reset from the android recovery for your particular model.
