Washing Machines - Recent Questions, Troubleshooting & Support

Possible solution - Check under the lid on the right-hand side about halfway. There should be a white plastic looking block slotted onto a couple of clips. This is the magnet that triggers the lid closed sensor. If it is out of place you will get this issue. Just fixed mine with exact same problem. Make sure it is slotted correctly into the grooves, Should sit flush. Good luck !

there is still water in the waterproof tray at the bottom of the machine and the float switch has activated. pull the machine out (if pipes allow) and tip the machine backwards to drain the water from the tray.
