Make sure water source is active, connected to fridge, and cut on. Turn ice maker on. If freezer is at correct temperature, it should begin making ice. If it still doesn’t make ice, either water valve or ice maker is bad.

More than likely a sealed system problem meaning freon has leaked out or there's a blockage.

How do you know since the door is closed? Assuming it is, it has a bad door switch. Replace it.
