When a municipality has a Water Main break the work that follows introduces so much debris into the adjacent lines that most filters are coated, overwhelmed and can't stop the sludge that is being forced through them and you will find the harder compounds, ie: calcium deposits, concrete particles & actual rock debris, although microscopic in size, in the water control solenoids of the new appliances we have today. It only takes one tiny little hard particle to jam the plunger in a solenoid and stop it from opening or closing. I feel confident in saying that your machine is not damaged but the clean-out of it may require a Technician that the City is Libel for paying, to fix your machine if the task is too complicated for your skill level. As with any new machine, cut all power to it and let it rest for ten minuets before powering back up to allow it to run it's own diagnostic troubleshooting program. It might give you a Fault code that will tell you exactly what's wrong and it could even clear the fault itself. I hope that helps.

consider the condition of your lens cleaner as compared to your disks. if your disks are more scratched than your lens cleaner disk then replace your disks, if not replace the lens

My first question is, can the engine idle ok. If yes, then cutting out at intersections may well be heat soak from the engine boiling off the fuel in the float chambers. Try fitting anti-percolating blocks between the inlet and the carburetor mounts. These are red fibrous blocks machined to the same tolerances as the carby bases.

Check for a bad fuse..not sure where it is but look in the owners manual or inside cover of the fuse panels for the wiring diagram

There isn't much you can actually do for it,, just keep the air filter clean and treated, keep a fresh spark plug in it.. its about the best it will be like it is..

The alarm you hear may be the overheating alarm... but, if it is, it won't run too long with it on before the engine locks up...Is there evidence of water coming from the witness hole in the back of the motor? Good.. otherwise,, you may be hearing the low oil alarm..or the oil pressure alarm...My bass boat oil system alarm goes off every time I crank the engine..but it uses oil and runs great...(been doing it for years - I am too lazy to clean the sensor in the oil tank)
The RPM and faster alarm is something that puzzles me?
