Lost HDD password
Others have been able to change the password in BIOS. Found this:
1. The HDD password cannot be removed using Security Assist.
2. Using SETUP BIOS (i.e. start machine; Hold Esc; Press F1), Tab to the HDD Password section which should be displayed as follows:
HDD = Built-in HDD
HDD Password Mode = USER Only
User Password = Registered
3. Tab to the "User Password" field and simply enter the old password and then a new one twice (once to verify) as one would do normally. If you don't want a password, just press "enter" twice

Issue with power button in HP ProLiant ML370 G6 server
If i am not mistaken I belive that there are two power supplies, correct? what if you swap them? Or if you have a spare... I think that maybe either the button isn't working correctly or the power supply might have some issues...I also think there might be some LED lights on the power supplies themselves...check it out.

Panasonic cf-19 backdoor bios passwords
You are all wrong. The password is held in nvm and no amount of taking out batteries or looking for jumpers is going to resolve this issue for you. There are a couple of nvm dump utilities out there that can provide a dump ( coded) for further analysis, ultimately revealing the password.Failing that... apply to Panasonic... but be warned, I'd your tough book is a stolen one.. you will get rumbled
