My suggestion. Find a picture of the harness on eBay where it's being sold. Zoom in and you'll figure it out pretty easy from there. I'd do it but I'd need the harness in my hand.

Tell me how it works out.

Could be defective, bad ground situation, head unit. First thing I would try, turn the amount on, recreate negative sound. Low volume. Now take a short piece of wire touch one end to the ground connection for the amp, and the other end touch to ground connection on rca (that's the outside ring) if it stops. Shut everything off, disconnect your negative battery terminal from the vehicles battery. Now go back over every bit of your wire job. Verify you have the correct wire size for length ran and projected amp draw.

Also, check every connection, power and ground, and not just on your amp, check the ones under the hood. Don't wrench then, just try to unscrew it with your hand. If you can, duh.

This will not only improve sounds quality, but it will save you cash. Bad connections drain battery, tired battery needs more help, helpful alternate gets tired, if alternator does not keep battery in top condition, starter starts to prematurely wear. Those three items are $500 and that's just parts.

Also, if the amp starved for ground, it will find one, at the RCA. Will burn up cable and fry the outputs on the radio. There is all the tools you need to succeed. Let me know what you find.

I had the same problem with my Pioneer AVH-P4000DVD. Just got my 16GB sandisk micro cuzer in the mail from Radio Shack. Here is what I did to solve it:
  1. Copied all the files that came with the Sandisk device to another location (in case I need them again)
  2. Copied all the music I had put on the Sandisk since I got it to another location
  3. Using a Windows PC, I right clicked on the drive in Windows Explorer and selected "format"
  4. I re-formatted the cruzer mini to FAT 32, default size (yes, I know it was FAT 32 already)
  5. Copied the music back to the cruzer mini
  6. Plugged it into my radio and it works GREAT! instant access to any track
Before you do this: Reformatting the drive also gets rid of the software that makes the cruzer mini copy files super fast. It will take a lot longer to copy music to the drive. For me this is no big deal as the only reason I bought the drive was to put a bunch of music on it and then leave it in my truck.

What button should I push if I don't have an "auto" button, both on the remote or the head unit? I have a dNx-5140. All help would be appreciated.
