Over temperature warning light has come on

When the overtemperature light comes on it is an indication of possible failure.
But before panicing check these items first.
1.Condenser clean
2. Condenser fan operating (if so equipped)
3. Clearence around unit to allow proper air flow
4. Is compressor running ? (if not check relay, overload)

The compressor relay's purpose is to start the compressor. A faulty relay can result in the compressor failing to cycle on. The relay is accessed from the lower rear of the refrigerator.
Before testing a compressor relay, unplug the refrigerator to avoid an electrical shock hazard. Also, if the compressor uses a capacitor, it must be discharged first to avoid the risk of electrical shock.
The compressor relay can be accessed by removing the terminal cover box. The cover is held on by tension or with a retaining clip.
Remove the compressor relay by pulling it straight off from the compressor
Pull the wire off of the side terminal of the relay. It is connected with a slip on connector. Firmly pull the connector, do not pull on the wire. You may need to use a pair of needle-nose pliers.
Inspect the connector and terminal for corrosion. If either is corroded they should be cleaned or replaced.
There are two types of relays you may encounter, wire coil and solid state. If the relay has an exposed wound wire coil it can be tested for continuity. Otherwise, the relay is of solid state design and requires specialized equipment for testing.
Test the compressor relay for continuity using a multitester. Set the multitester to the ohms setting X1.
With the relay upside down, place the probes into the terminals labeled "S" and "M". The multitester should display a reading of zero ohms, indicating continuity (or if using a continuity tester, it should light up).

relaytest1b.jpg With the probes still in place, turn the relay over. You should hear the click of the magnetic switch engaging. The multitester should now display an ohm reading of infinity (or the tester should not light up).
Turn the relay upside down again, place the probe on the "S" terminal and place it on the side terminal labeled "L".

relaytest3b.jpg The multitester should now display a reading of zero ohms (continuity). Turn the relay over and the reading should change to infinity.
With the relay upside down place one probe on the "L" terminal and the other probe on terminal labeled "M".

relaytest2b.jpg The multitester should display a reading of zero ohms. Turn the relay over and the reading will stay the same, zero ohms.
If the compressor relay does not pass all of these tests, it should be replaced

How can I check the compressor relay? Is there a way to check and see if it's working?

If it rattles when you shake it it's bad.

Describe your frigidaire refrigerators frs26r4cq0

Your condenser fan probably is not running. It's underneath with the compressor. It should be running when the compressor runs. You can place a fan on the floor blowing on the condenser coils till you get it fixed. The fan should spin freely. Test the fan motor for continuity using a multitester. Set the multitester to the ohms setting X10. Place a probe on each terminal. The multitester should display a reading approximately mid-way between infinity and zero ohms. If the motor does not pass this test, it should be replaced. You don't need to test the middle one if you have one.

Washer not agitating,it doesdrain but does not agitate

Hello

You need to check and test the lid switch, The lid switch ensures that the lid is closed before enabling the machine to spin or agitate. This feature was added after serious injuries resulted from people reaching into an operating washing machine. For this reason, the lid switch should never be bypassed.
Test the switch for continuity using a multitester. Set the multitester to the ohms setting X1. Place a probe on each terminal. The multitester should display a reading of infinity. Depress the button on the lid switch and the reading should change from a reading of infinity to roughly zero. If it does not pass both of these tests, the switch should be replaced.

Inspect the motor coupler,
Inspect the driver belt (belt drive only)
Inspect under the washer for soot (clutch)
Test the motor
Inspect the pulley
Test the transmission
Inspect the agitator
Inspect the pump coupling
Test the water level switch

Hey..

In this case there several tips to fix this problem. One of this tips is to test the lid switch first.

Some lid switches also have a fuse, you can visually inspect the fuse or test it for continuity with a multitester. If the fuse is bad, replace it with one of the same rating.
The lid switch ensures that the lid is closed before enabling the machine to spin or agitate. This feature was added after serious injuries resulted from people reaching into an operating washing machine.

Test the timer control
Test the centrifugal switch
Test the water level switch

Inspect the motor coupler
Inspect the driver belt(belt drive only)
Inspect under the washer for soot (clutch)
Test the motor
Inspect the pulley
Test the transmission

This tips are useful if all of this tips are fix.

Good luck!

Power seat, mirrors

no its not hard to replace and test with repair manual haynes or chiltons will do and a multitester consult one of our expert techs online chat or try this
first make sure fuses are good then remove switch and test to see theres power to main switch then each individual switch using multitester at 20Vdc setting
then if theres power to switch and it doesnt work at all replace it,
if there is power but only part of the switch works and it is a multi switch control switch you can test its leads to the motors them selves follow wiring to probe using multitester same setting as you try individual functions up down forward etc and isolate which motor is faulty and replace most motors and switches are dealer items but heres a company may have it
