From the picture i pulled up it looks like you unscrew the back cover on the motor and you should see them. if the old ones are stuck just scrape them out with a small screwdriver.

SOURCE: bosch 18volt brute force cordless drill how do i remove chuck

Put the screw back in the chuck, tighten it up then back it out 1 turn. Take a punch, put it in the chuck and give it a quick hit with a hammer. That should do the trick.

Use a pipe wrench on it to give yourself a little more leverage. It is simply jammed all the way open and it will release when you apply enough force.

Can you use an 18 volt dc drill on a pier

No, you will damage the drill.
Here's a fellow that tried it:

You can now buy waterproof drills although the price is something else: https://nemopowertools.com/

- I've just re-read that and if you mean that the drill will NOT be in the water then yes, that's fine.

How do i put a drill bit?

An impact driver won't work very well as a drill. In fact it will probably break drill bits in anything but very soft material (like drywall). A drill bit needs a smooth continuous motion, because it cuts continuously as it turns. An impact driver turns with a staccato motion.

I have an 18 volt 1/2" drive cordless impact wrench made by DeWalt and when I pull the trigger the motor runs but not the anvil?

Sounds like you have a gear broke that runs from the motor to the shaft. Take it apart and check it out. easy to put back together. atleast you will know for sure and may fix it while it's opened up.

Drill Motor Reliablity

some models have external brushes for easy changing - when the brushes wear down you can easily change them for new ones, some models have this feature ,it is only of use if you are using your cordless drill on a daily basis.
