Question about HP PSC 2410 All-In-One InkJet Printer
HP Director Software
Where could I download the HP Director Software
I am not sure if this helps with you issue but this is what I just found out. I wanted to scan from my printer but since I can't find my original disc that came with my printer I could not scan. I contacted HP, they told me that the new laptop that I have should have the software loaded on it. She told me that since I have a older printer that it doesn't work with Vista (or at least the buttons on the printer won't work, so I couldn't scan a picture by pressing the button). She told me that I needed to go through Microsoft Paint and scan. It worked for me. Hope this helps...

U can download here
hp director software
Just type in the name of the hp director software and search. On the search page, you will find the download links. However, if the results are to be further refined , click on the category “software”.. If you further want to get only Rapidshare or Megaupload links, just change the drop down menu from “Main Search” to “Rapidshare Files” or “Megaupload Files”. Finds almost anydriver software instantly.

Like many other people, no doubt, I downloaded the full driver + software package for this from the HP website, and it DOES NOT COME WITH HP DIRECTOR, like what was on the CD.
Thankfully, it does come with the application that scans, with all the features that it used to have. If you have gone to the HP support page and downloaded the full package, it should be here: C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\Digital Imaging\bin\hpqscnvw.exe

You can download the software/driver for your 6210 OfficeJet from HERE. Just choose the correct OS and download. BTW, the Director Software comes bundled along with the drivers.
Also, if you have IE7, that could be a problem. Try uninstalling IE 7 and run say IE 6 or use Firefox instead. HP Director Software is not compatible with IE7. However, HP has a patch available I think. You can download it HERE.
Should you still have difficulty opening Director Software, here's another solution I found on the web. I quote:
"After double-clicking on the HP Director icon, nothing appears to happen... the program is starting normally, but it’s hiding.
Wait a few seconds, then hold down the ALT key and press the space bar. A small dialogue box will appear.
Click on Minimize (you may have to click twice)
Voila! the HP Director task will appear in the task bar at the bottom of the screen - click it, and the program will appear and work normally."
If your printer is not 6210, please post back the correct model, and I will provide you the required link(s).
Hope that helps! Should you have any further questions, please feel free to post them here.
P.S. - If you find that the solution/answer I provided led you to, or resulted in a fix, please close the ticket with a FixYa! rating. I would be very grateful for your show of appreciation.
If your issue is not resolved, please do not assign a rating just yet. Please post back as to what steps you took, results, etc, and I will try to assist you further as best I can. I am here at your service.
