When was the last time the the drum and developer was replaced in the developer unit? If has been replaced, then you might have a bad ATDC (Automatic Toner Density Control) sensor Located right below the developer unit. If the developer was replaced when it was done was a vacuum cleaner used? IF so the static electricity from the vacuum clear destroyed the sensor, NEVER USE a VACUUM cleaner to remove the developer. Also when the developer was replaced, was counter cleared to tell the copier developer was replaced, the copier uses the counters to determine certain voltages for certain assemblies, if not image problems and codes can appear. Finally, was the F8 run after the developer was installed before ant prints or copies made? If not buy new developer and start over, counter is to be cleared first, then developer replaced, then F8 run.

Konica minolta 282 c2557 code appears after developer was replaced and counters were cleared and f8 was run

After clearing the counters did you touch "END" and then power off the machine. Check your counters again if they did not clear get new developer and drum and start over

The error code appearing on our bizhub250 is c2557

. Might want to have the developer replaced and drum/cleaning blade normally done all together, then run the F8 procedure and make sure the counters where cleared. Did you recently replace the drum and the developer if so did you clear the counters for the drum and developer, FIRST. IF not then the copier thinks the new drum and new developer are old. The copier works on the counters that is how it knows it got a new drum and developer. Get new developer and a new drum and have it installed correctly. Counters are clear before the unit is yanked out of the machine, then you remove the image unit/drum unit replace the developer/drum and cleaning blade. (DO NOT USE A VACUUM CLEANER WHEN REPLACING THE DEVELOPER static electricity can destroy the sensor located below the developer unit. Then reinstall and RUN F8. Make sure the fax line and Ethernet cable is removed can't print anything until the F8 is run. Or you will start all over again with new developer and a new drum.

YOUR Code deals with the sensor located at the bottom of the image unit. Which monitors the Toner and developer mixture

Does the control panel say replace PC drum? You need to have the Drum/Developer and the Developing unit replaced. Make sure that the counters are cleared before removing the old unit and make sure F8 is run after the new image unit is installed
