Question about Kenmore Elite 22.4 cu. ft. Bottom Freezer Refrigerator with Adjusta Cube Ice Maker
I have a Kenmore Elite Trio (bottom freezer) model # is 7957756600
The ice maker is not an in door dispenser. It sits in the freezer, fills a tray, and dumps the ice into the bucket. For some reason, the plastic trough that the water flows through keeps freezing up and clogs the flow, then the water
just flows right into the bucket and floor of the freezer. Soon I have an inch-thick layer of ice in there.
Why is this happening, and how can I stop it?
Check at the back of refrigerator were water line comes in see if there have eany hole or check your freezer may be it (ajar)

the ice maker is no making ice
I was able to solve this problem very inexpensively. The water in the ice maker was overfilling. First, I thawed the water dispenser trough with a hair dryer and cleaned the out the built up ice. Then I switch the cube size on the ice maker from "large" to "medium" and I have not had a problem since.
