Tip & How-To about Yamaha Audio Players & Recorders

HP Spectre x360 laptop screen freezing

I bought a new HP Spectre x360 Convertible 13-ac0XX in 2017 and have had this issue for most of the time I have used this machine. I am running Windows 10. I have spent hours with the help desk to no avail. The solution was simple in the end. Update the device drivers. One way to do that is given below.

The Solution:
1. Type in 'Device Manager' (without the quotes) in the Search Box next to the Windows icon (mine is at the bottom left corner of the screen).
Press Enter.
Result: A list of devices should display

2. Select a device and double click or double tap it to show the drivers for that device.
Result: A list of drivers for that device should display

3. Select a driver and right click it, then select 'Update Driver'

Not sure which driver was the problem but a few of them did update.

why hp envy won't let me partion on their 1tb hd

I would use windows to partition the drive. Type computer management into the start search box, select disk management and change the hdd size by reducing it and then format the new drive.

laptop not switching on.. how to open hp envy spectre xt 13 laptop and remove battery?

See the bottom side of your laptop. There will be a slide button in the bottom of your laptop. Slide the slider in one direction...then your laptop battery will b unlock and then take out battery from the laptop. n check battery polarity. After that insert the battery in the laptop and then connect the laptop charger to the laptop and then switch on the power supply...Allow the laptop to charge for some time say 10-20 minutes and then again try to switch on your laptop.

the HP 2010i? is monitor not a PC.

SaM WHY POST LACKING WHAT PC YOU OWN? 10s of thousands of models made.

THE FULL PC MODEL NUMBER IS NEEDED.
if a desktop , we'd need to know what jack you use for the video cable
1: VGA onboard.
2: VGA adding card option.
or DVi?

lacking those key facts and OS you run
windows WHAT?
all answers will be wrong. at best wild guessing.

your monitor can do it.
the PC need to have the most current video driver loaded if and only if it can do this at all.
