Ok, so for whatever reason you have entered your little pattern too many times on your Android phone and you are now locked out. You can't remember your pattern, something or someone else entered it too many times or something of the like and you are now stuck at the "Too Many Pattern Attempts" screen. The phone is demanding the Google account details that you synced the phone with when you very first turned it on.

Hi,

When this starts happening with my Android phone, it usually means that the screen got dirty from the oils from your skin, which blocks the sensor that tells if your face is next to the phone during a call.
You should clean the screen off with a soft cloth: 100% cotton, or else some kind of microfiber (cell phone stores sell things specifically for this purpose, but I usually use a clean t-shirt) and then it should work just fine again.

The other thing you can do is press the power/lock/wake button to make the screen wake up again.

Let us know if you have other questions!

If you are using a Samsung Moment running Android 1.5 on the
Sprint network others have shared your problem. You may have a lock on the phone. Even so, you could manage to dial just by taking the phone out of my pocket. In one incident someone accidently slid out the keyboard while doing so automatically took them to the lock screen. From there all you have to do is press the screen in the right space. This is annoying and potentially dangerous- this person called 911 three times in one day. The company needs to either add a confirm screen with a yes button on the other side of the screen or allow us to disable the button entirely.

The iPhone DevTeam is working on this, so you'll be able to mount android on iphone.

The project is called iBoot, and it goal is to give users an option weather to load the iphone with it's regular OS, or a Linux based OS, since android is Linux based you'll be able to load it on to your iphone.

This is a link to a 3 min movie on Vimo that demonstrats android on iphone.

As you can see this will take a while, but it will be possible.

Where are you downloading apps from, the phone/tablet or on a PC? Have you setup a gmail account on your phone yet? A gmail account is required to register the phone/tablet on the android market.

Try using the avd (android virtual device) manager. Create a new virtual device. Make sure you use the correct API level that you are building your app for. API level 4 is for Android 1.6 (Donut), which would support most shipping phones.

Every android device should have a google account tied to it (whether you know it or not.) It is REQUIRED to have a google account to download apps to the device.

If your device is PIN locked and you do not in fact have a google account then you are SOL. It is a security feature so that people can not get into a device that has been lost or stolen. No PIN, no dice

Hi friend,

Android is an open mobile phone platform that was developed by Google and, later, by the Open Handset Alliance. Google defines Android as a "software stack" for mobile phones.
So, what's a software stack? It's made up of the operating system (the platform on which everything runs), the middleware (the programming that allows applications to talk to a network and to one another), and the applications (the actual programs that the phones will run). In short, the Android software stack is all the software that will make an Android phone an Android phone.
Android is based on the Linux operating system, and all of its applications will be written using Java. Google says Android will "ship with a set of core applications including an email client, SMS program, calendar, maps, browser, contacts," and more.
Anyone can download an Android software development kit from Google and write an application for Android.

Please rate me......

Thanks,,,,
