Question about 1988 kawasaki ZL 250 Eliminator
I have the battery hooked up and the switch on, the lights on the handle bars come on (neutrul light warning light, etc) but no hadle bar controls work, IE starter button and horn. What could cause this?
You might try to check the horn first by shortcircuiting it ( two leads from the battery.) If the horn itself works , find your way up: check with your contact switched on, the wires that lead to the horn by using a small light bulb or an Voltmeter: if you push the horn button, the licht should go on or the voltmeter should read 12 v.. If not , check the horn switch itself, there could be some corrosion. Good luck , allways a puzzle , the electricity..
