Check the ignition coils. they are prone to heat as they age, when they heat up they can go "Open circuit" and then close up when they cool down.

maybe a bad battery , if you can check water level in battery , give battery a good charge , get battery load tested , also check to make sure there,s nothing staying on after switch is turned off

Get away frokm this " deal " as fast as possible. This is a classic ripoff. There is no such thing as an Ebay center. Yes, you woukld pay via PayPal but the term " PayPal Center " is false. Exactly how is the seller going to sign the title to the bike over to you if they are out of the country? If the bike really exists, which it doesn't, it is not yours until that title is signed. They have your money, they have the title; " Officer, this guy stole my motorcycle, I want it back ". Ebay NEVER acts as a middleman in ANY transaction. " Money back guarantee " yes, and the tooth fairy is real. I would notify Auto Trader of the scam. AGAIN, THIS IS A SCAM ! ! !

I saw a lot of these problems on the net and it seems that you need to re-wire your cables from your starter to your battery.
Here is a hefty link. Very detailed.
