Did you prime the oil filter before you put it back on? Some oil filters come with a plastic cover over the opening to keep it clean. Did you remove it? The lack of oil pressure may be the reason it is not starting.

Resetting a Vehicle Anti-Theft System
This is how you reset an anti theft system if you have the anti-theft light on, or your car is cranking, but you have no spark.

Doing a full reset of the anti-theft system.

Disconnect both battery leads for at least two hours.
Hold the negative and positive leads together for 5 minutes to fully discharge any power.
Put the key in the ignition, but not turned on. VERY IMPORTANT!
Connect the positive lead.
Connect the negative lead in one swift movement.
Wait 15 minutes for the system to fully reset.

I believe that the light you are seeing is the red motor light which is the check engine light. When it is on and NOT blinking there are hundreds of reasons why. You need to take it to a parts house and most will hook up a scanner and can tell you why it is on. Some times it is important and other times it is not. It could be just a loose fuel cap. If the icon is blinking, that means that there is a problem that could do damage to the engine or other systems on the car.

What type of problem are you having? Make sure that all battery connections are clean and tight. Then with a test light check the fuse box. Do the fuses that get power when the key is on light up? Does the radio come on when the ignition in turned to on? Does the Air conditioner fans work when the key is in the on position? Does the starter crank over when you turn the key to the crank position?

Have you tried to jump it? Have you checked fuses and fuse links? Check fuse D in the power distribution center. Have the battery checked and clean the cables (both ends) . I hope this helps, take care.

Check your fuses. Also check to see if your brake lights stay on. You may need to adjust the brake switch.

It sounds like it could be the key fob has security issues. It would try disconnecting the vehicle battery for a few minutes and reconnect to reset the system. If this doesn't work, you will probably need to go to the dealership. Good luck.

If your instrument panel or radio is not lighting up with the headlights, this wire may be a dimmable voltage plug that came off. If not, I wouldn't be concerned if everything is working properly.
