If you left it parked for a year with gas containing any ethanol at all then I would check things like your fuel filter because it might be plugged as well. Ethanol blended fuel is a curse if you leave it dormant for a long period of time.

To me it sounds like, possible fuel lines being clogged and maybe need replaced. If you can prime it, and it ??s for 5 to 10 seconds, sounds like its just not getting fuel fast enough or at all through the lines after the initial prime and fire up. Possibly a new fuel pump may be needed. But definitely a fuel system problem. Good luck

Check for water in the fuel. Also check the carburetor bowl for fuel. You can disconnect the fuel line at the valve and run a bit of fuel out, make sure to run in both on and reserve position. The carb has a small fathead screw for a drain. Back it out a few turns to release the content of the bowl. Also check the air filter under the seat. Make sure it’s clean.

Hi, Todd parts swapping is common with most motorcycles when it comes to interchangeable or compatible parts from one model with another "EXCEPT" for the CDI's they are year-make-model "SPECIFIC" the best thing to do is call your local Dealership Parts Department or a reputable independent shop. If your location is not near a shop then go online and find a parts catalogue or "FICHE" and match part numbers depending on your criteria.

If your speedometer is broken then your AWD will not work. You can do 2 things

1. Replace the Speedometer
2. Remove the 6 pin plug from your speedometer
On the plug, short the brown/Brown White wires together and
tape it up good.
Do not reconnect the plug.
You will lose the function of the speedometer but your AWD will work.

That is a possibility, if it is fuel injected there is a minimum pressure required for it to run. A fule rail gauge is not very expensive and you can find fuel pump testing on Utube.
